Then as Evel was waiting for a new liver, we started talking two or three times a week. Every time we spoke there was another incredible story - a missing piece of history. The book took on a new life with dialogue, more pictures and more highlights of Evel's amazing story.

I've always known Evel as the living legend - the daredevil. But over the past months, I learned to admire the real Evel. I'm in awe of his incredible memory of the people who have touched his life, his relentless spirit for adventure and his subtle sense of humor. EVEL*WAYS captures this attitude and his daring approach to life. Evel insists that he still is going to complete the autobiography he started in1972. I sincerely hope he does.
